Director of Entrepreneurship
Tanya is an Entrepreneurial Educator with a proven track record of designing meaningful learning experiences that build the entrepreneurial capacity of individuals and groups to accelerate social change. She is a dedicated social innovator and advocates for economic inclusion for disadvantaged groups within our communities.
She is committed to fostering the entrepreneurial aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples throughout Australia, by facilitating responsive place-based and real-world learning opportunities that enable empowered participation in the economy. She has extensive experience in the development of sustainable, ethical and culturally focused Indigenous enterprise development, and has facilitated a range of projects in remote and regional Australia.
Tanya also brings a wealth of knowledge from the corporate sector, as is a highly experienced brand and marketing manager working for global brands including Patagonia. Tanya is Entrepreneurship Manager at Southern Cross University, and Founder of Remote Op-Shop Project, and Circulanation, organisations that enable others to realise their full potential and take control of their own economic pathway and future.
